Anti-rust treatment of dog cage

Choose the right material

1. Stainless steel material:
Stainless steel has good corrosion resistance, and choosing a dog cage made of 304 or higher grade stainless steel can fundamentally reduce the risk of rust.
Stainless steel dog cage prices may be slightly higher, but long-term use, its corrosion resistance, durability and aesthetics are worth the investment.

2. Galvanized material:
Galvanized treatment can increase the corrosion resistance of the material and prevent the dog cage from rusting.
Choosing a dog cage that has been treated with zinc plating is also a good choice.

Surface rust prevention treatment

1. Coating treatment:
Coating the surface of the dog cage with anti-rust paint or coating can effectively isolate water and oxygen, thereby reducing the risk of rust.
When choosing anti-rust paint, products with good durability and strong corrosion resistance should be selected.

2. Electrophoresis treatment:
Electrophoresis is an advanced surface treatment process, by placing the dog cage in an electric field, so that its surface is uniformly attached to a protective film, which can be a good protection against rust.
Electrophoretically treated dog cages are smooth, durable and resistant to corrosion.

Daily maintenance and maintenance

1.Step 1 Keep dry:
Dog cages are prone to rust in wet environments, so try to keep the inside of the cage dry.
When cleaning the dog cage, you can use a dry cloth or absorbent paper towel to dry the moisture inside.

2. Avoid scratches:
During use, avoid scratching the surface of the dog cage with sharp objects or the dog's PAWS, as this may damage the surface rust layer.

3. Check regularly:
Check the surface condition of the dog cage regularly, and clean up the rust in time to avoid the expansion of rust.
You can use a soft cloth or sponge, and add a neutral cleaner to gently wipe the rust, and then dry with a dry cloth.

4. Pay attention to the ambient humidity:
Avoid placing the dog cage in an environment with high humidity, such as near a humidifier.
Indoor humidity should be kept within the normal range to reduce the risk of metal corrosion.
